Course Description

Senior Learners is designed for mature adults, 60 years of age and older, who are also New York State residents.

In this introductory jewelry design course, you will learn the basic techniques to manipulate, fold, stamp, and reshape metal to create a unique one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry such as a pendant, cuff, bracelet or ring. You will also develop professional tools and techniques such as working on basic filing, sawing, and creating patinas on metal.
