Course Description

Build on your basic draping skills using industry-standard dress forms. You will explore intermediate and soft draping techniques through a series of projects, including: a basic pant, a custom-designed top featuring a basic sleeve and collar, a peg skirt, and a cowl top. Students will also work on their own original creative drapes.

Prerequisites

This is an intermediate course. Prior beginner draping knowledge is needed. Recommended course to take prior to this: SXP190. Students should know how to drape: a basic skirt, basic bodice, and flare skirt before taking this course.
