Course Description

Sewing with slippery, silky fabrics can be challenging! Let's learn the fundamentals of working with poly or silk satin fabric. Understand the difference between these slippery fabrics and what sewing tools and notions we need to work with them properly. In this intermediate sewing course, students will master simple seams and professional finishes for silky fabrics.

Notes

Prerequisite(s): This is an intermediate course. Prior sewing experience on an industrial sewing machine is recommended. If you do not have these skills, you can take SXW 400 for sewing.
