Course Description

This course will take students from concept to creation for one fashion garment. Students will receive an introduction to customer research, business structure, pricing strategies, production options, and promotion and marketing on day one. Students will then select a design, make a garment, and develop a mini business plan for how to get the garment made, sold, and promoted. Prerequisite(s): SXW 400 or basic sewing skills
