Course Description

This purpose of this course is to illuminate various facets of sociological factors from fashion historical lenses from inside the corporate structure to the consumer. The course aims to break down common buzzwords in fashion regarding race, identity, and politics, and how their true effects throughout the fashion system. As mentioned, fashion history is the theoretical approach of the course, opening opportunities for students to explore resources to expand their practice and connections within the workplace and with audiences.
