Course Description

This 2-day intensive course is for those exploring the path of fashion merchandising. A merchandiser chooses the best looks and trends, in the right colors, sizes, and silhouettes, to create a merchandise mix that keeps their customer coming back for more. Understand merchandising a product from the perspective of being a merchandiser and a consumer. Learn the basics of how to develop a go-to-market strategy, such as identifying customer wants and needs, tracking and reacting to trends, and efficiently utilizing data analytics. A fashion merchandising career is both creative and analytical. Learn about the current trends, skills, and innovative thinking you will need in order to pursue a job in product development, retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, and more.
