Course Description

The “face of fashion” is ever changing and ever evolving. This workshop will introduce you to a wide range of fashion figure croquis, diverse in size, ethnicity, and gender while developing a mini collection that thrives on the wearer’s self expression and identity. Learn how to show proficiency in design standards and originality of alternative concepts in fit, form and function in your own collections. Great for students interested in portfolio development!

ELIGIBLE GRADES: High School students entering grades 9 through 12 as of the upcoming Fall semester.

COURSE SUPPLY LIST FOR STUDENTS  (for all sections of this course):  

  • Kneaded eraser 
  • 2H pencils
  • Pencil sharpener
  • 11"x 14" tracing paper pad 
  • 11" x 14" marker pad (Border & Riley layout visual bond #37, or similar)
  • Markers: Chartpak, Copic or similar (Will be discussed in detail in first class)
  • Skin Tone Markers: (Will be discussed in detail in first class)
  • Prismacolor Premier Color pencils:  (Will be discussed in detail in first class)
  • Colorless Blender
