Course Description

Spring forward with your own original designed fascinator. Bigger than a barrette, but smaller than a hat, these British-inspired whimsical adornments have become fashion right for celebrity events in the day , or at cocktail hour, no matter the country. This studio workshop introduces you to professional techniques from blocking the shape to finishing and decoration. Learn hand- sewing techniques used in the finest quality millinery and work with decorations such as feathers, flowers, or beads to embellish your creation. Fascinators are often perched at a jaunty, flirty angle and you will learn how to keep your fascinator fastened on a head too. No experience necessary. Skills imparted can be used for future commercial or personal projects.
