Course Description
If you are ready to focus on studio and natural lighting, advanced camera techniques, and image sequencing, this course is for you. You will also cover the basics of Adobe Photoshop, including image processing, photo retouching, and collage. You must be comfortable with the digital camera and manual settings to join this class.Notes
ELIGIBLE GRADES: High School students entering grades 9 through 12 as of the upcoming Fall semester.

- Bring your notebook, pen and camera to each class. Make sure the battery on your camera is fully charged.
- Notebook and pen
- Digital SLR camera (Single Lens Reflex) or Mirrorless Camera*
- SD or CF memory card (please check what your camera needs)
- Tripod (optional but recommended)
- USB jump drive
- External hard drive strongly encouraged

- If you are purchasing new equipment for the course, we recommend purchasing the accidental damage coverage offered by the retailer.
* If you do not have your own Digital SLR you're welcome to borrow one from FIT for the designated class hours. If you would like to continue to practice at home it is highly recommended that you purchase and bring your own camera. If you don't have an DSLR and do not wish to purchase one, you will need to bring your SD card to each class session to keep your work on to participate.
