Course Description

Experienced woodworkers and those who have completed SXW 650 or 660, learn to design and build your own custom-made furniture. Start by making models and create preliminary drawings used in the design process. Technical aspects of production and sourcing materials will be discussed. Realize your concept as you complete one or more finished pieces. Students are expected to obtain their own materials based on their customized ideas.

Notes

Bring to first session: pencil, tape measure, work gloves, safety glasses or goggles.
