Course Description

Course is an in-depth exploration of Adobe Illustrator’s drawing tools and work area, expanding on basics covered in Illustrator I, with emphasis on techniques used by graphic designers. Mathematics used in certain types of designs will be discussed and applied, as well as aspects of typography, graphically creative text effects and font management. Professional-level Wacom™ drawing tablets will be available for use. For a final project, students will design a tabloid-sized poster using Pen-drawn objects, set up with full printer’s marks and bleed.
