Course Description

In this workshop, learn how to replicate your favorite garment (without deconstructing or destroying the original) while developing a sustainable pattern. Learn a professional technique used in design houses to wardrobe departments. Applicable for men’s, women’s and children's apparel. A knowledge of sewing and/or commercial patterns is helpful.

Notes

Materials required for the course: a garment for duplication, fashion curve, french curve, recyclable clear trash bags, sustainable markers with mid-size tip (two different colors), 18” clear ruler, straight pins, measuring tape, scissors, #2 pencil, and a pad or notebook.
