Course Description

Whether you are new to sewing or already know your way around a needle and thread, this course will provide you with additional skills. Starting with basic sewing procedures, you’ll learn various hand stitches, hemming techniques, and seam finishes along with discovering which method works best for different purposes. Sewing machine skills are not taught in this course.

Notes

Materials required for this course: one yard of plain (mid-weight) muslin - no other fabric substitutions are acceptable, fabric scissors, 12 inch ruler, regular pencil, one package of multi-sized hand sewing needles, seam ripper, straight pins, black and white all-purpose thread (1 spool of each).
