Course Description

Discover the renowned fashion photographers of the twentieth century and the professional techniques, tips and tricks used to create their works as inspiration for your own pieces. You’ll be taught how to engage with a model on set to achieve desired results while working on in-class photo projects. Students will be introduced to basic functions of a DSLR camera and in-studio lighting equipment, such as tungsten light, on-camera electronic flash, strobe lights, and natural light to realize their personal images. Students may bring their own DSLR camera or borrow one from the school.

ELIGIBLE GRADES: High School students entering grades 9 through 12 as of the upcoming Fall semester.
