Course Description
Delve into the world of interior design, where function meets fabulous! Learn how to use creative and technical solutions to design engaging spaces for home and commercial environments. Discover how color schemes, textures, materials, spatial planning, and lighting shape your vision as you develop floor plans, utilize color harmonies, source fabrics and furniture, and assemble sample client boards. Immerse yourself in the world of interior design through captivating lectures and hands-on projects.Notes
ELIGIBLE GRADES: High School students entering grades 9 through 12 as of the upcoming Fall semester.

See below for required course supplies.
- Bring 2-4 fashion magazines to class 1 and class 3
- Access to google search engine, and powerpoint/google slides
- Architect's scale (¼”)
- Scissors
- White plastic eraser
- HB-H-2H Pencils and pencil sharpener
- (1) White Tracing Paper Roll (18in Wide)
- (4) 15"x 20" white iIllustration boards (Bainbridge or Canson are popular brands). If you cannot get, then (2) thicker white poster or bristol boards (11x17”)
- Sketchbook or notebook for note-taking
- 90 degree rt. triangle
- Glue sticks or rubber cement glue
- At least (1) interior design/shelter magazine and any furniture or home catalogs
