Senior Learners is designed for mature adults, 60 years of age and older, who are also New York State residents.
Frame your vision, capture your world, and create through the lens! Discover the fundamentals of digital photography in this hands-on course designed for beginners and photo enthusiasts. Learn to confidently use your camera—yes, including all those dials!—whether DSLR, mirrorless, or smartphone. Explore essential techniques such as ISO, aperture, shutter speed, composition, white balance (WB), lighting, depth of field, and basic editing. Through a mix of lectures, creative projects, and critiques, you’ll build a foundation in visual storytelling and gain the skills to take striking photos, elevate your social media presence, or develop a creative portfolio.Notes
