Course Description

Dream of designing the next viral toy? In this hands-on course, you’ll explore how toys come to life, from brainstorming ideas and sketching to presenting your own original toy concept. Guided by a toy industry expert, you’ll explore storytelling, character creation, play patterns, and playful product development, while also learning about career paths in the global billion-dollar toy industry. You will also explore FIT’s state-of-the-art toy lab to inspire your creativity. Spark your imagination, build real skills, and bring your toy ideas to life. The toy aisle is waiting—let’s fill it with your ideas!

ELIGIBLE GRADES: High School students entering grades 9 through 12 as of the upcoming Fall semester.
