Course Description

Senior Learners is designed for mature adults, 60 years of age and older, who are also New York State residents.

Learn introductory skills to make objects and wood furniture. Begin with information on joinery concepts and wood physics as well as planes, cabinet scrapers, and spoke-shaves. You’ll learn how to safely operate woodworking machinery, including the table saw, band saw, drill press, and miter saw.
