Course Description

Every outfit you see in movies, shows and live performances is crafted or carefully selected by costume designers and fashion stylists. In this workshop you’ll explore various approaches to wardrobing and costume design used by professionals in the entertainment industry. Learn how styles, trends, and product placement influence wardrobe and costume design. Work on creating a character through the use of clothing and accessories, get an overview of revolutionary ideas that changed the industry, and learn how it’s still evolving today.

ELIGIBLE GRADES: High School students entering grades 9 through 12 as of the upcoming Fall semester.
