Course Description

Explore marketing and product development in the cosmetics and fragrance industries. Get a brief overview of the history of this exciting industry and learn the language used by marketers, developers, chemists, and perfumers. You will study the basics of working in a cosmetics and fragrance laboratory and investigate how beauty products are made. You will have a hands-on experience creating beauty products across a variety of categories. Please note that you will be exposed to a wide variety of odors and should not be allergic to smells.

ELIGIBLE GRADES: High School students entering grades 9 through 12 as of the upcoming Fall semester.
