Course Description

Discover the exciting world of 3D printing and digital fabrication technologies. In this course, you will learn how to create prototypes while navigating the technical aspects of selecting and operating a 3D printer. You’ll explore the fundamentals of CAD modeling, understanding how to transition your digital designs into physical objects. Along the way, you’ll gain insights into the process, from navigating the 3D printing workflow to considering factors like cost and time. By the end of the class, students will have created a model and gathered the necessary information and resources to continue their projects independently.
