Precollege Programs hosts four-hour seminars for students in grades 6-12 that will give you a peek into FIT's majors and today's creative industries. Experience FIT's amazing faculty and alumni while you learn about the skills needed to succeed in these creative industries.

Speaker: Kevin Tung, Fashion Designer
Kevin Tung is a graduate of the FIT Fashion Design program & Precollege at FIT. During his time at FIT, he studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and interned at Milly. Post-graduation,Kevinhas been working full time, designing for companies like Milly, Aeropostale, Catherine Malandrino, T Tahari, and is currently an Associate Designer at White House Black Market. Speaker: Cathy Mallebranche, Fashion Stylist & Costume Designer 
Cathy Mallebranche is who has made a name for herself within the fashion industry. With almost two decades as a Fashion & Wardrobe Stylist and Costume Designer, Cathy has worked with some of the industry and entertainment’s biggest celebrities, television networks, publications and New York’s Fashion Week shows. As well as work with many well-known industry producers and production companies. She has lent her creativity to all avenues within the fashion, including but not limited to, Television, Film, Commercials, Advertisements, Runway Shows, E-Commerce. With clients ranging from Puma, Macy’s MTV, T-Mobile, among many more.

Blair Hirak is a digital content professional with a focus on in-house content development and production. She is an alumni of FIT, where she received her AAS in Advertising & Marketing Communications in 2013 and BS in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies in 2014. She currently works at KIND Snacks, where she’s focused on social media, content development, and production for the past 6+ years. She has a knack for creative storytelling, an obsessive attention to detail, and infuses a hint of self-deprecating humor in everything she does...because life is better when you're laughing.

Speaker: Leonid Gurevich, Stylist-Designer-Photographer
American fashion designer, editorial stylist, and a fashion photographer Leonid Gurevich is best known for creating strong fashion looks with luxury flair, characterized by an extreme degree of individuality. His work has appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, Martha Stewart Weddings, New York Weddings, Departures, and HELLO. He has styled fashion presentations, look-books, campaigns for fashion brands, an ad campaign for NIKON Europe, and most recently, an ad campaign for the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.
